weekend photo update
How is Madelyn doing, you ask?
Madelyn’s been great! She barely ever cries, only to let Mom & Dad know that she’s hungry or she wants her diaper changed. She eats for about 15 minutes and tends to fall asleep right away, sometimes for about 3-5 hours, even at night.
Mom & Dad drove all the way to the outlet malls in Pleasant Prairie, WI, went to a couple stores, and made it home with Madelyn sleeping the...

Becky only had to push for 25 minutes!

Since Becky can't feel anything, she's just taking...
Epidural is in. Becky's at 6cm now...
The bag of water has been broken...
There’s about an hour before we can get Becky an epidural, so in the mean time, Becky had a narcotic to take the edge off.
The doctor came in to break Becky’s bag of water, so things are progressing pretty well…
Becky's in a TON of pain lately.
She’s at 3cm now and we’re hoping the Doctor will allow her to get an epidural asap…

Pitosin has been started...
1.5cm
The Cervidil fell out, so the nurse checked Becky’s cervix and she’s 1.5cm dialated so far. The nurse is paging the doctor and we’ll probably start the Pitosin soon…

Becky is all settled in. The Cervidil is in and now it’s just a matter of waiting until about 5:30 tomorrow morning to have the Pitocin started.
The nurses have been extremely nice and more than helpful. We just had dinner (Jimmy John’s) and soon-to-be Uncle Josh lent us a laptop so we could have some internet connectivity.
Week 40 update...
Becky went in for her Week 40 check up and since there is no sign of activity, we will be going to the hospital on June 9th and they will start inducing the morning of June 10th. Exciting!
